Founded in 2018, Wibena Impact is a non-political, non-profit organization that aims at improving people’s quality of life by supporting the development of sustainable poverty alleviation, provision of and improved access to water and sanitation, environmental conservation and community digital transformation that enhances the self-sufficiency and productivity among the youth and women. Wibena Impact seeks to address the cross-cutting issues on the promotion of women’s socio-economic empowerment as well as the enhancement of youth skills and employability by creating hope guaranteeing that the most vulnerable groups can access better sustainable livelihood that is crucial for the growth and development youth and women in the modern society.

Wibena Impact with Reg. No. 702/RGB/NGO/LP/12/2020 & OP.218/051/20-158/11922 is incorporated as a Non- Governmental Organization, under both Rwandan and Kenyan Laws. The organization imparts youth and women with the tools to become innovators in the fields of STEM, WASH Programs, Social Entrepreneurship, Training and Skills Development so that they are empowered to create, lead, start and manage small enterprises and become relevant to the current job market. WI aspires to ensure improved livelihoods for the marginalized women and youth in targeted communities.

To empower the current generation of youth and women including the Most Vulnerable Groups(MVGs) and promote the transformation African communities for the attainment of the Africa we want.

Empower” means increasing capabilities for improving sustainability and well-being as well as keeping pace with changing times and problem solving skills.

Most Vulnerable Group” means persons living below poverty line, girls and women in rural areas and urban slums, child laborers, minorities, and children with special needs. Gender equity is seen as a measure of overcoming disadvantaged status for girls and women.

In empowering these persons, we endeavor to open access to applicable education, literacy and vocational skills, innovative ideas and livelihood programs anchored on demand and sustainability.

To adopt a practical approach towards Pan Africanism by connecting Africa and investing in the creation of shared prosperity among Africans.
