Professor PLO Lumumba

Professor PLO Lumumba is the Founder of the PLO Lumumba Foundation and a consultant with Lumumba and Lumumba Advocates, a member of the Africa Justice Group (AJG). He is an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanganyika and a certified mediator. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya FCPS (K), a Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Management (FKIM) and Honorary Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences (FAAS). He is the Chairman of Farafina Investment Group in Monrovia, Liberia and Economic Strategic Growth and Development Initiative for Africa based in Nigeria.
He has authored several books on diverse subjects. With several speeches on diverse subjects delivered in and outside Africa, Lumumba is recognized as one of the leading public speakers in Africa and the African in Diaspora. He is the founder of several organizations including the PLO Lumumba Foundation, a charitable organization that has been in operation since 1990. He has also been twice recognized as one of the 100 most influential Africans.

Professor Magidimisha-Chipungu

Prof Magidimisha-Chipungu is an NRF-rated researcher and SARChI chair for inclusive Cities. She made history as the first black-female South Africa born to graduate with a PhD in Town and Regional Planning at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2015. She also holds a Masters in Town and Regional Planning and a degree in Geography and Environment – both from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. In addition, she has a Diploma in Project Management from Roseburg College in Cape Town.
Prof Magidimisha-Chipungu is an award winner by nature. She recently won VC research award at UKZN. She is among the 2018 Mail & Guardian top 200 Young South Africans who are influential. In addition, she was also recognized as one of the best young academic by the University of KwaZulu- Natal in 2018 – thus winning an award of Teaching Excellence in the College of Humanities. This award follows closely on the award of excellence conferred on her by ISOCARP for the outstanding role she played during the Young Professional Planners’ workshop and her participation in organizing the Congress in September 2016.

Dr. Bobadoye Ayodotun

Dr. Bobadoye Ayodotun

Bobadoye Ayodotun is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Global Emerging Pathogens Treatment Consortium (GET).  He has a B.Sc. Animal Science (University of Ibadan, Nigeria), M. Tech, Animal Production and Health (Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria), Executive Masters Project Management (Project Management College London) and PhD Climate Change and Adaptation (Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation, University of Nairobi, Kenya). He has over 15 years research and teaching experience with African Technology and Policy Studies Network, Nairobi,  Kenya (ATPS) and Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN). He is a scholar of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Washington, DC; and also a scholar of Africa Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL). Dr. Bobadoye has led many internationally funded research projects bordering on climate change, natural resource management, science, technology and innovation (STI); innovation systems; development issues; policy development, analysis and advocacy; epidemiology; biosecurity and private sector engagements. He is a member of many professional organizations and has published over 50 journal articles in reputable journals

Linda Lumbasi

Linda Lumbasi

An international development professional, Linda has vast experience in managing programmes and projects involving multiple stakeholders and countries in Africa and Europe including Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, and Ireland.
She has worked with several organizations including most recently with Trinity College Dublin where she held various roles including Coordinator of the GATE (Gender Awareness and Transformation through Education) Project; Coordinator of the Trinity International Development Initiative (TIDI), and as Fieldwork Coordinator of the Masters in Development Practice (MDP).
Linda holds an MSc. in Development Practice from Trinity College Dublin/University College Dublin, an MA in Higher Education Studies from Makerere University, Uganda and a B.Ed degree in English Language and Literature from Moi University, Kenya. She is passionate about both international development and higher education and leverages her experience in these areas in enabling organizations achieve their objectives. To this end, she is currently a Board member of Cherish International (Ireland) and previously served as a Council Member of Chuka University (Kenya) for a period of six years.

Dr. Emmanuel NZEYIMANA (PhD. Scholar), he is a civil society expert in Rwanda and in the region (East and Horn of Africa), he is an experienced economist with focus in Agriculture Development, youth and women empowerment, a seasoned development practitioner and human rights activist. He is a PhD research scholar in Development Studies with Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He holds M.A in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from University of Rwanda.

Dr. Esperance Luvindao is a medical Dr, Health Advocate, African Poet and Speaker.
As a speaker  and public speaking Coach, She currently trains some of the country’s greatest speakers and is renowned for training individuals in managerial positions. Her personally designed curriculum tackles voice projection mastery, pronunciation, and confidence amongst others. Dr. Luvindao trains individuals and companies under her speaking company “Speaker’s Globe” Dr Luvindao has spoken for numerous events but of note is her engagement as the Speaker for the Old Mutual Master Class for self development and self actualization. She has spoken for numerous international conferences over the past year and is set to be the main speaker for an International Conference in France later this year.
Dr. Luvindao is currently practicing medicine in the north of Namibia and advocates for quality health for all irrespective of socioeconomic backgrounds. of note is her 1 Step At A Time Initiative that has saved over 7000 Lives today. As a health advocate, she believes that it is her role to facilitate difficult conversations around health. Her YouTube series, RAW, has received much traction as it tables issues within the African Health system that limit the quality of care offered to patients. her dream is to create an African Health System that places the needs of every human being before anything else. her firm belief that health is every country’s priority has driven her to table issues surrounding health with Ministers, and other decision makers in an effort to change the face of African Health Care.

Stephen Kieti is a senior Auditor at Bakertilly International. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) (University of Nairobi), Master of Science Finance (University of Nairobi), and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Nairobi. With over ten years’ experience in audit, accounting, and taxation. Worked with Grant Thornton International and Moore Stephens LLP. He has led several international assignments in Africa. He has performed audits in government Institutions and the Private sector, due diligence, tax advisory services. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Kenya (CPA)and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.
